Apple TV remote's alternate-option with buttons

 



Universal Electronics Inc. (UEI) has presented its version of the famously unpopular Apple TV remote specifically developed and designed for satellite, MVPD, and cable customers announced the company.  

CEO of Universal Electronics Paul Arling said in a statement that they are excited about the worldwide customers who will soon be able to enjoy this new remote, which is specifically for the MVPDs developing number providing Apple TV 4K to their subscribers.

The remote uses Bluetooth infrared or low energy to associate with the box, and for speak command to Siri, it consists of a microphone. The function of this universal remote permit TVs control and audio devices from the manufacturer or any brand. Backlit keys are also available, which activate through a surrounding light sensor. Additionally, it has added a mute button and other buttons to flip through channels, according to UEI.

Only Universal isn't the company that presents an Apple TV remote alternative, but internet provider Salt and Swiss TV a year ago built up a remote as a team with Apple after the native remote was controlled by touchpad proved frustrating for customers who were habitual of standard buttons. and in July for Apple TV, function introduced its Button Remote. The Salt model has been hard to purchase in the US.

Starting next year, UEI's remote will be available. however, shoppers won't have the option to purchase the remote directly from Universal. The company intends to sell remote's branded versions directly through the cable companies.
